Hi. Thanks for your interest in Shoot Low Sheriff.
Sounds like we would be perfect for your event.
Our price would depend on when we play (Thursday would cost more if we had to take off work), and how long we would play. I'll call you in the morning to get more details. I'll also check with everyone else in the band to confirm their availability.
Thanks!

Q

You said you were playing in Burleson the 24TH of june. Where is the concert? Also where will you be in Ft.Worth the 25TH?

Shoot Low Sheriff responded on 06/11/2011
A

The show on June 24th is outdoors at the intersection of Main and Ellison in old town Burleson. We play from 7:30 to 9;30. It should be a great show. On the 25th,we're playing at Stockyards Station in the Fort Worth Stockyards. That's where the old passenger train comes in.

Q

We caught your (kinda) recent show at Sons of Herman Hall - and, as usual, you were great!!! Question: any future shows planned to begin earlier than 9:00 PM? Us old farts need our rest.

I hear you. I remember the days when we used to play in Deep Ellum and didn't START till midnight.
We do have a couple of earlier shows coming up next month. June 24th we're playing an outdoor civic concert in Burleson that starts at 7:30. The next day we're playing in Stockyards Station in Fort Worth from 2-5pm. Both shows are free. We're playing at the Stockyards Station once a month through October or November. We'll have info posted on our Web site about those shows soon. Thanks!

Q

As a whole, where and/or when does your band seem to do it's best? Is there a 'favorite' place where you all like to perform, where the rhythm just seems to flow better?

Shoot Low Sheriff responded on 04/26/2011
A

That's a good question. Pretty much anyplace where the audience appreciates good, honest music. That's what does it for us.

Q

when will the next CD be released?

We haven't set a date yet. It will probably be sometime in the Fall.

Q

Just saw your show at Yelof's in Athens. All I can say is you guys rock! Thanks for a wonderful evening! We hope to see you again soon.

Q

Wondered if you all routinely play some songs where folks do individual dances? If so, what songs?
Thanks

Shoot Low Sheriff responded on 03/30/2011
A

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by individual dances. Usually, everyone starts dancing at the same time.

Q

Erik,

I sent you a question asking whether you did weddings but, I suppose it didn't make it through. We are in the early stages of planning my daughter's wedding in Sept. of this year in Plano.

Hi. I don't know how I missed your question. Yes, we're definitely interested in performing for your daughter's wedding. Do you have any idea what date it will be?

Thanks,
Erik

Q

Does the band have a constant group of members? Does everyone live in the same area? Does everyone else have a "day" job, or is making music the primary profession?

Shoot Low Sheriff responded on 03/20/2011
A

Hi Donald. We do have a constant lineup: Erik, Larry, Dustin, Wayne, Jessica, Brandon, and Geoff. Lately, we've started playing with a smaller group for events that can't accommodate the full seven-piece band. We have fun doing that, but we do feel that the full band is the best way to experience Shoot Low Sheriff.
We all live in the general North Texas area, mostly in Dallas or the surrounding suburbs. None of us are full-time musicians. Everyone has a day job, except two of us who are retired.

Thanks for your question.
